about
Cycle started as experimentation in instrument set-ups and ultimately what sounds could be played together live. Out of this creative loophole came inspirations about certain textures and instruments playing together that for me had never been explored. all the songs were grounded with a steady pulse like beat provided by my toy keyboard. While writing these songs a strong feeling of importance of community struck me, and my community of Gainesville is one with variety and noticeable inherent character. I see this album as a reflection on my community, and society at large. Varied with texture, all in good intent.loosen up
